Travis Mcvey, Executive Producer

 

As a veteran U.S. Marine and a Marine Guard under Present George H.W. Bush, Travis McVey is author of the book Heroes of the Stage, which profiles Country music artists who have served in the Military and the impact it has had on their careers, music and personal lives. The 284-page narrative was published by Hero Spirit.

 

In addition, Travis is a sought after speaker and media presence. He has been featured by NBC News, Bloomberg, Vetrepreneur magazine, The Tennessean, Nashville Business Journal, Navy Times, Marine Corps Times, Fox News Nashville, TNN, CBS News, and E!’s “Chelsea Lately.”

Speaking engagements include the Syracuse University Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities (EBV), The American Veterans National Convention (Memphis), the National Veteran-Owned Business Association Veteran Business Convention (St. Louis), the American Veterans (AMVETS) National Executive Committee Conference (Arlington), the American Veterans (AMVETS) California State Convention, Larry Broughton’s Entrepreneur Uprising Event (Las Angeles), the Global War On Terror Wall Of Remembrance Event (Nashville) and the Nashville Entrepreneur Center.

 

Travis joined the United States Marine Corps in 1989, and trained in San Diego, Washington, D.C., and Camp Pendleton. He served as Section Leader of the Weapons Company 2nd Bn 8th Marines in Camp Lejune, N.C., and Section Leader of the Weapons Company 3rd Bn 24th Marines India Company in Nashville.

 

He is also Founder & Owner of Heroes Vodka, the “Official Spirit Of A Grateful Nation,” as well as a father, veteran advocate, entrepreneur, consultant and a correspondent for Vets On Media.
